Bruno

The one sentence said,

Tore me apart.

‘Bruno was no more.’

Tears shed from my eyes,

My heart shattered into pieces,

And felt the whole world falling apart.

Understood the true fear, Death!

Unable to sleep day and night,

Felt his presence again and again.

I missed his licks and paws,

Terrible breath and soft black fur,

I wanted to have some more!

Begged for more love

And found a way.

A new path was available

Of a cute little beagle.

With new love started

A journey.

One that would go forever.

I hugged him,

And hid my pain forever.
